Approaches to Translating Proverbs and Culture-Specific Expressions from Arabic into English: An Applied Study on Selected Folk Literature
الملخص
This study discusses the difficulties in rephrasing Arabic and cultivation- related expressions into English, especially those deduced from myth. It shows that nonfictional restatement frequently fails to convey meaning successfully, egging translators to exercise other styles, similar as dynamic parity, artistic negotiation or restating; Through the study of special exemplifications, it shows that the liberty of styles depends on the ground and purpose of restatement, and the translator's understanding of cultivation is the crucial procurator for the success of restatement. This study suggests that the training of translators should be strengthened by raising artistic mindfulness and establishing bilingual sources for delegates, which is helpful to restatement or restatement
