Abstract
This research deals with the meaning of the univocal ba' in the verse: {In the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage}. It monitors the statements of grammarians and commentators on whether it is a ba' of state or accompaniment, and explains its semantic effect in seeking blessings, adherence, and seeking help from Allah. The meaning of the ba' is dual in the verse: {And wipe over your heads}, between its addition or its indication of partiality or attachment, with the presentation of the disagreement of the imams (Malik, Al.Shafi'i, Abu Hanifa), and the statement of the opinions of commentators and grammarians on the amount of wiping required. The meaning of the ba' is trivalent in the verse: {And in their right hands is their light}, clarifying the disagreement of commentators on whether it means (in), (about), or causality. It monitors the opinions of grammarians and commentators on the multiplicity of its meanings and its semantic impact in explaining the light of the believers on the Day of Resurrection. The meaning of the letter "ba" is quadrilateral in the verse: "growth with oil" (tanbutu bi.duhn), explaining its four aspects: transitivity, increase, accompaniment, and causality, while presenting the statements of grammarians and commentators and the differences in readings, and explaining its impact in explaining the meaning of "dahn" as opposed to "oil" or "light rain". The meaning of the letter "ba" is quintilateral in the verse: "so because you misled me" (fa.b.ma.aghwaytani), explaining its five meanings: oath, causality, "lam", substitute, and accompaniment, while presenting the statements of grammarians and commentators, and explaining its meaning in confirming Satan's argument, and the diversity of its grammatical and rhetorical directions
