Abstract

The research aims to study the reality of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries as a study of regional geography through studying the emergence and development of the Gulf Cooperation Council and studying the natural and human factors affecting this region. In addition, it studies economic activity and knows the strengths and weaknesses of the economies of these countries by presenting a current picture and the extent of the influence of these countries on their surroundings.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consists of six countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. It was established to achieve coordination, integration, and interconnectedness among member states in all fields, achieving unity and deepening and consolidating existing ties, connections, and cooperation between their peoples in various fields. It also aims to establish similar systems in various economic, financial, commercial, customs, and other economic activities, and to advance scientific and technological progress in various economic fields by establishing scientific research centers, .establishing joint projects, and encouraging private sector cooperation
