Abstract
The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of the Posner model in the achievement of second-grade middle school students in Islamic education and developing their cognitive motivation. The researchers used the experimental method, and the research sample was selected from second-grade middle school students in the center of Nineveh Governorate / left side for the academic year
(2024_2025). The school was selected intentionally and the students randomly from Anas bin Malik Intermediate School. The sample consisted of (67) students They were distributed into two groups, experimental and control, and the researchers rewarded the two research groups in a number of variables. To achieve the research objective, the researchers prepared two tools: the first was a test to measure the level of achievement of the second-grade middle school students, consisting of (40) objective test paragraphs. The second tool was a measure of cognitive motivation consisting of (28) paragraphs. After verifying the validity and reliability of the two tools and using appropriate statistical methods, The research reached the following results: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.5) between the students of the experimental group who studied
