الملخص

Abstract


This study aimed to examine the role of cross-cultural collaborative learning via digital platforms in improving the communicative competence of English language learners in the fourth grade of science, using a descriptive correlational approach on a sample of 148 students. The results showed higher levels of collaborative learning and communicative competence among the sample, and revealed statistically significant differences attributable to gender, school type, and experience in using digital platforms. A positive correlation was also found between cross- cultural collaborative learning and communicative competence. In light of these results, the study recommended the integration of cross-cultural digital collaborative learning activities into English language teaching, given their effective impact on enhancing communicative competence and developing cultural awareness among learners.
