الملخص





هدف البحث تقديم دراسة حول التأثيرات البيزنطية في الجيش والبحرية خلال العصر الأموي (41هـ – 132هـ / 661م – 750م)، من خلال تسليط الضوء على مدى تأثر البنية العسكرية الأموية بالنموذج البيزنطي، نتيجة الاحتكاك المباشر والمستمر بين الدولتين. فقد تأثر الأمويون بعمق بنظام الثيمات البيزنطي، مما انعكس بوضوح في تأسيس نظام الأجناد والثغور لدى الأمويين، إذ جرى توطين الجنود وتوفير الإمدادات والدعم في النقاط الحدودية، وهو ما أرسى منظومة دفاعية ذات طابع دائم. كما تبنّى الأمويون تنظيمًا قتاليًا مرنًا مستمدًا من نظام الكراديس والخميس، مما منحهم قدرة عالية على الانتشار وتوسيع نطاق الحركة القتالية. وامتد ذلك التأثير ليشمل استخدام الأسلحة الثقيلة كالمنجنيقات والدبابات الحربية، فضلاً عن اعتماد شبكات الاستطلاع وجمع المعلومات كجزء من آليات التنظيم العسكري غير المباشر، إلى جانب تفعيل البريد الحربي لتأمين الاتصال السريع بين القيادات والمواقع.وفي المجال البحري، انعكست الخبرات البيزنطية في أساليب تنظيم الأساطيل وبناء السفن، وخاصة في استخدام سفن الشواني والدرمونة، إلى جانب استيعاب استراتيجيات الإنزال البحري والتصدي للنار الإغريقية، مما مكّن الدولة الأموية من تأسيس قوة بحرية فعالة قادرة على مقارعة التفوق البحري البيزنطي في شرق البحر المتوسط.
