الملخص





يعد محصول القطن المصري من المحاصيل الزراعية النقدية التي تحتل مكانة اقتصادية هامة في مجالات الإنتاج والاستهلاك والتصنيع وهو عصب الاقتصاد المصري لكونه منافس قوي يفوق الأقطان  العالمية في الجودة ، الذي أدى دوراً هاماً في التاريخ السياسي والاقتصادي لمصر ، وبوقوع مصر تحت الاحتلال البريطاني عام ١٨٨2 عملت بريطانية على تحويل مصر إلى وحدة زراعية مختصة بزراعة القطن لدعم مصانع الغزل والنسيج وخاصة مصانع لانكشير
