Abstract
This research examines polygamy in the Banu Abd al-Muttalib clan during the prophetic era, influenced by religious, cultural, economic, and social factors. It was not limited merely to personal desire, but played an important role in societal stability and strengthening alliances within it.
After conducting an approximate statistical analysis using artificial intelligence applications on the system of marriage relations and polygamy within the Banu Abd al-Muttalib clan, the number of marriages was estimated as follows: at least 25-30 known marriages among the men of Banu Abd al-Muttalib, taking into consideration that some men married more than once. This statistic includes only known historical figures, and the actual number is likely much larger if all members of the clanthroughout the ages were to be counted.
