Authorship and Contributorship Policy

The Journal of Education for the Humanities requires that authorship accurately reflects the scholarly contributions of all individuals involved in the research. Authorship carries responsibility and accountability for the content of the manuscript.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research. Such contributions may include the conception or design of the study, data collection, analysis or interpretation of results, drafting the manuscript, revising it critically for important intellectual content, and approving the final version for publication.

All authors must be able to take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the work. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria and that no eligible contributor has been omitted.

Acknowledgement of Contributors

Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged in the manuscript, where appropriate. Such contributions may include technical support, language editing, administrative assistance, data collection support, or general supervision.

Unacceptable Authorship Practices

The journal does not accept guest authorship, gift authorship, honorary authorship, or ghost authorship. All listed authors must have made a genuine scholarly contribution to the manuscript.

Changes in Authorship

Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission must be submitted in writing to the editorial office. The request must include a clear explanation and must be approved by all authors, including any author being added or removed.

The journal reserves the right to request additional documentation regarding individual contributions. Changes in authorship may not be accepted after final acceptance or publication unless there is a justified and documented reason.

Corresponding Author

The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal during submission, peer review, revision, and publication. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the manuscript and agree with its submission and publication.
