Abstract
The current research aims to identify the level of crystallized
intelligence among students of Al-Hamdaniya University and to identify the differences in the level of crystallized intelligence according to the variables of gender (males - females), specialization (scientific - humanities), and academic stage (first - fourth). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the crystallized intelligence test prepared in advance by (Al-Salami, 2019). Its validity was verified by presenting it to a group of experts in the field of education and psychology. The researcher also verified the discriminatory power and difficulty coefficient of the tool’s paragraphs and reliability using the split-half method. The research sample consisted of (200) male and female students from the College of Education for Pure Sciences and Humanities at Al-Hamdaniya University for the academic year 2023-2024. The research results showed that the sample members enjoy a good level of crystallized intelligence compared to the hypothetical average of the tool adopted in the research. No significant differences appeared according to the variables of gender (males - females) and specialization (scientific - humanities), but differences appeared according to the variable of the academic stage. (First - Fourth) In light of the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposals
