Abstract





This study examines Al-Ajurrumiyyah, a foundational Arabic grammar primer, through an in-depth analysis of its manuscript commentary, "Al-Nafahat Al-Ilahiyyah ala Al-Ajurrumiyyah," by the esteemed scholar Ahmed Al-Omari of Mosul. The research primarily investigates Al-Omari's methodological approach and distinctive teaching style within his commentary. Findings reveal that Al-Omari's work is characterized by both comprehensiveness and succinctness, offering valuable insights, rules, and supplementary information that can significantly benefit students of Arabic grammar. The study also includes a detailed biography of the commentator and explores his unique method of presenting the introduction and expounding upon the core text. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of classical Arabic grammatical pedagogy as exemplified by Al-Omari's significant scholarly contribution.
