Abstract
The research aims to identify: The impact of the “Tanal Al-Qamar” strategy on developing probing thinking for fourth-year middle school students. The research sample consisted of (60) students from the fourth middle school year who were intentionally selected from Al-Huwaira Middle School in the city of Mosul for the academic year (2023-2024).
They were distributed into two groups, the first experimental, which included (30) Two students studied the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education according to the “Achieving the Moon” strategy, and the second included (30) students who studied according to the usual method. The researchers used an experimental design with two equal groups. To achieve the research, the researchers prepared a probing thinking test tool consisting of (25) items. paragraph, and the researchers verified its validity, reliability, and strength of distinction. The researchers applied the tool before starting the experiment and after completing it. To extract the results, the following statistical methods were used (T-score) for two independent samples, Cronbach’s alpha equation. The results indicated the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05). (Between the averages of the experimental and control groups in the probing thinking test in favor of the experimental group, and in light of the research results, the researchers came out with several conclusions, most notably the possibility of relying on the strategy of attaining the moon as a modern strategy in teaching Islamic education. The researchers recommended a set of recommendations, most notably: the necessity of Islamic education teachers paying attention to choosing strategies. Teaching appropriately for learners, especially when determining appropriate educational activities and methods.
