الملخص





تُعد مجلة الفكر المسيحي التي صدرت عام 1964 من المجلات التي وثقت تاريخ العراق، إذ حرص رؤساء تحريرها على اصدراها ضمن مواعيدها على الرغم من الازمات المالية التي تسببت في صدور بعض من إعدادها بشكل مزدوج، وكان يُبذل فيها جهد كبير قبل اخراجها من مراسلات مع ناشري المجلة وتنظيم مقالاتها وصياغتها بالشكل المطلوب، و استطاعت المجلة ايصال صوتها الى قرائها سواء في داخل العراق او خارجه، لتشكل مصدرا وسجلا تاريخياً بحوادث وقضايا تفيد الباحثين.


      امتازت المجلة بخطابها الصحفي والإعلامي المعتدل ولم تدخل في مناقشات حامية وجدل عن قضية مختلف عليها سلبياً، ولعل المجلة في تجنبها لهذه القضية، قدمت نموذجاً للصحف المعتدلة مثلما كانت تعبر بوضوح عن التزام أصحابها الإعلامي الأخلاقي  والتربوي ، إذ ركزت على الاسرة والطفل والشباب والتعليم لاسيما التعليم الالزامي، والذي هدف الى تعليم ابناء الطبقات الفقيرة من الفلاحين والعمال والذين كانوا اساس عملية التغير الاجتماعي والثقافي، ليوازي بين العملية التربوية والتعليمية واعطاء الفرص المتكافئة للجميع لمحو الامية.
